Debmala Ray Choudhuri's seven-year series is a diary of fragility, loss and desire exploring South Asian immigrant identity in America, the death of a lover and the artist's experience of tuberculosis. Self-portraits and portraits of friends and strangers extend conversations around mental health, trans and queer experience, desire, longing and imagined homeland.
